I have pointed out that I have no problem with drug testing for individuals that receive government aid. However, we need to decide what "drugs" we are testing for. We will need to decide if we test all that receive government aid; to include businesses, farmers, ranchers, college students, etc.
I would also suggest that we "employ" those that wish to receive assistance. I would assume most that receive government aid can do some type of work to pay back for what they receive. We could have them sweep the streets, pick up trash, make public assistance telephone calls, etc. If they feel these tasks are below their standards, then that is o.k. We will then withdraw their public assistance. I would think these ideas would appeal to all Americans.
